AUTOMOTIVE

The Vocational Preparation qualification covers the skills and knowledge required to perform a limited range of tasks related to inspecting and performing minor repairs on mechanical and electrical components and systems of cars.

Year 11: Tuesday 1:00pm - 5:00pm

 

Year 12: Wednesday 1:00pm - 5:00pm

Students  will need to apply online via the Sydney Catholic Schools VET website. The courses overview, due dates and online application form are now available on the Externally-delivered VET page

Please contact Champagnat College directly if you have a suitable student who would like to observe a class on a Tuesday or Wednesday afternoon next term.

BUSINESS SERVICES

A course intended for students who are interested in a career in the office or business environment and in other personal contact & service occupations such as legal or medical secretary, business management, marketing, advertising and finance.

 

The knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired by students in this course will also be of value in future study and daily life.

HOSPITALITY - KITCHEN OPERATIONS

This qualification reflects the role of individuals working in kitchens who use a defined and limited range of food preparation and cookery skills. They are involved in mainly routine and repetitive tasks and work under direct supervision.


This qualification provides a pathway to work in kitchen operations in organisations such as restaurants, hotels, catering operations, clubs, pubs, cafes, cafeterias, coffee shops and institutions such as aged care facilities, hospitals, prisons and schools.

Hospo Anchor F&B

HOSPITALITY - FOOD & BEVERAGES

This qualification is recognised entry-level qualification for employment in the Hospitality industry. The course would suit students who are interested in a career in the Tourism and Hospitality Industry, working in hotels, motels, restaurants, clubs, catering organisations, resorts, travel and tourism organisations.

 

Students may also wish to complete this course for general interest and to assist in part-time work while undertaking further study.

Sport C Anchor

SPORT COACHING

This qualification is nationally recognised entry-level qualifications for employment in Sport Coaching.

 

This course would suit students who are participants in particular sports and are interested in sharing their skills and knowledge of the sport by undertaking a coaching role under supervision or independently in a sporting club or school.

 

The knowledge, skills and attitudes acquired by students in this course will also be of value in future study and daily life.
